Jamie Lawrence is a former football professional player featuring in the Premiership for Bradford City & playing for his national side Jamaica. Jamie had a troubled start to life having spent time in prison. In this part he explains his childhood and how he ended up in prison and the path he had to take to reach professional football. This part is a great insight into the difficulties Jamie found growing up. He managed to continue playing football inside through Cowes Sports and then goes onto explain his path afterwards going on trial with a few clubs before landing a contract at Sunderland. From there Jamie moved to Doncaster Rovers and then onto Leicester City where he speaks fondly about being managed by Martin O’Neill.
